WINNER OF THE 44th MINI PRINT INTERNATIONAL OF CADAQUÉS, 2024
Born in 1963 in Poznań, Poland, he studied 1985-1989 at the Graphic Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
Since 2006, profesor Serigraphy Studio at the Graphic Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow.
His media are printmaking and drawing.
In his artistic work he uses individual solutions related to the process of creating a matrix in creating graphic prints. Formal experiments concern two areas of graphic techniques. The first is intaglio printing from sand, relief matrices. The second area is flat printing – serigraphy, combined with spatial matrices using vacuum presses.
Participated in over 400 exhibitions and art shows in Europe, Japan, USA, Korea, China.
In the years 2010-2013 he was a member of the Board of the International Print Triennial Association in Kraków, and is currently a member of that Association.
