WINNER OF THE 42nd MINI PRINT INTERNATIONAL OF CADAQUÉS, 2022

Born in 1967 in Mexico City, Luciano Segurajáuregui Álvarez is an industrial designer from the Autonomous Metropolitan University, Azcapotzalco unit, Master in Marketing and Administration, and Doctor in Design.
He is currently a professor in the Department of Processes and Realization Techniques of the Division of Sciences and Arts for Design of the Metropolitan Autonomous University, Azcapotzalco unit, in Mexico City.
He has contributed as a jury in the Paglione Design Challenge, sponsored by the Illinois University in Chicago (UIC). He has also been a juror at the third International Train Design Competition 2018 in Qingdao, China.
He has exhibited his photographic work on numerous occasions, both personally and collectively.
Photography generated a growing interest in textures, an interest that found a way with the abstract image through collagraphy and its immense possibilities to treat erosion as a theme, as well as the various transparencies and opacities that inks and stamping allow.
