CRISTINA MORIANO

WINNER OF THE 43rd MINI PRINT INTERNATIONAL OF CADAQUÉS, 2023

Born in 1976 in Barcelona, she has been residing in Subirats (Catalonia) since 2003.

“Fortunately, I have always been in contact with nature, and I like to think that this is reflected in some of my compositions, as the influence it exerts on me is clear – the rural landscape where I live. The unpredictability and restlessness of life have been very present in my journey, creating the feared uncertainty… My goal is for a dialogue to emerge in my works, a dialogue that balances the work in fragile and subtle spaces. My creations are within my own language; inner movements that are full of small, sometimes even doubtful reflections… and in a way, these become the backdrop of my structures.“
