WINNER OF THE 44th MINI PRINT INTERNATIONAL OF CADAQUÉS, 2024
Chang Hui Ju is an illustrator and printmaker living and working in Taiwan. In 2017 she decided to follow her passion and transition from graphic design to printmaking. Her specialty is Mezzotint gravure printing technology.
Combinations of geometric figures are often used to create a sense of space in the picture. When printing, she likes to use two copper plates of different colors to create more layers in the picture. Therefore, the light contrast in the picture will make the space appear more three-dimensional, as if it sucks people into different time and space.
